Site location
Grassmoor Lagoons lie on a former colliery tip next to Grassmoor Country Park between the villages of Grassmoor, Corbriggs and Temple Normanton.
The lagoons area includes the highest ground in the Country Park and boasts panoramic views over Chesterfield and the Rother Valley. Unfortunately, this site is currently fenced off to prevent public access owing to the contamination and pollution associated with the lagoons.
